1. Statement of Work

The 2016-2017 corrosion testing scope of work included HVAC and metal panel clips and fasteners in the test matrix. This portion of the scope was not completed due to time constraints, and remains an open question. The 2017-2018 scope of work focuses on completing this testing.

The test protocol includes the following:

2. Deliverables

 

·         An interim report detailing the current status and progress toward completing the scope of work will be submitted by February 15, 2018. The interim report will be presented to the Commission’s Roofing Technical Advisory Committee at a time agreed to by the Contractor and the Department’s Project manager.

·         A final report providing technical information on the problem background, results and implications to the Code submitted to the Program Manager by June 1, 2018. The final report will be presented to the Commission’s Roofing Technical Advisory Committee at a time agreed to by the Contractor and the Department’s Project manager.

·         A breakdown of the number of hours or partial hours, in increments of fifteen (15) minutes, of work performed and a brief description of the work performed.  The Contractor agrees to provide any additional documentation requested by the Department to satisfy audit requirements.

Research personnel time and will be reported and certified using a “loaded” rate computed from the following table. Note that the indirect cost shown in Table 1 is computed from the indirect cost in Table 2 + the indirect cost associated with the travel and miscellaneous categories.

Justification

 

0.46 months of Dr. Gurley’s salary, 1.437 months of the Powell Lab Manager (Sinnreich) salary, and 0.46 months of admin assistant salary will be covered during the project period. 250 hours of student OPS time is covered for conducting the experimental work.

 

Fringe benefit rates:

27.4% for faculty

            45.2% for TEAMS/USPS Hourly (admin)

            35.8% for TEAMS/USPS Exempt (Lab staff)

            0.6% for student hourly

 

Indirect cost rate is 10%

 

Materials and supplies include metal fastener specimens to be tested in the SOW, as well as supplies needed to conduct the testing.
